HSK3 Group Course Overview

In the HSK system, HSK1 and HSK2 levels are survival Chinese with the focus on pronunciation and vocabulary expansion rather than character recognition and reading. HSK 3 is the start of the intermediate level of Chinese, requiring reading characters rather than reading Pinyin. Moreover, more Chinese social background and cultural knowledge is introduced to learners. HSK3 covers a variety of daily social scenes, such as making comparisons, expressing emotions, describing the development of events, etc.

  • Review and consolidate words learned at HSK1, HSK2 levels

  • Total (new & old) vocabulary required: 600 words

  • Common sayings required: 20 common sayings

  • Sentence structures required: 160

$590 for complete course (60 group lessons)

Classes are on a Monday and Wednesday at the same time each week. Each class has two lessons with a 20 minute break in between. New classes start at regular intervals. When you book you will be shown the available start dates and times in your own time zone. Each available start date has different class times. The times for classes will be the same throughout the course, so make sure you choose the one that best suits you. You'll receive emails confirming your choice of date and time and your payment.
